The best strategy is picking the top 9 of the australian team and then flintoff and pitersen (if he's playing). Let;s face it, England are going to lose big time.

Allan and Josh (and reluctantly David lol), you have PMs. Julia, Neil and Andrew, you in?
And Neil, you can not pick more than 6 Aussies so you can't take the top 9.

lol
Quoted just in case it's edited out later. Post of the year without a doubt clap
And just for you David as you know absolutely nothing about it, I'll post the probable lineups for the first match and a couple of hints you can at least select 11 players who will play.
Lineups will probably be as follows.
Australia:
Hayden, Langer, Ponting, Martyn, Hussey, Watson (subject to fitness test, else Clarke plays), Gilchrist, Lee, Warne, McGrath, Clark/Tait/Johnson (noone knows who the last spot will go to)

England:
Strauss, Cook, Bell (subject to late fitness test, else Joyce plays), Pietersen, Flintoff, Collingwood, Jones, Hoggard, Harmison, Anderson, Panesar

Your best bet is to pick Warne, McGrath, Ponting (all Australia) and Flintoff (England) as those are the top 4 players who everyone is sure to pick. As for the rest, pick any 3 Aussies and any 4 English to make 6 Aussies and 5 English.

goodjob Done and dusted Alex.  And by pure luck, I actually have 6 brits and 5 aussies in my team!

I didn't pick McGrath but did pick Flintoff and Warne!  Who wouldn't! wub

One of my bowlers is not in the probable line up for England!

How did Anderson get in there?

I presume you put Mahmood then?
I guess change that place in the probable lineup to Anderson/Mahmood. It's the only place still up for any debate but Anderson is expected to take it given his good form in the warm up matches plus also some experience of touring Australia before. Mahmood is a bit too erratic and would probably be smashed all around the ground. Don't rule him out playing though. I expect and hope it to be Anderson. Always been a favourite of mine and could never understand why he wasn't getting consistently picked after he was our top player at the last World Cup. Given he's a swing bowler, and more like Simon Jones than Mahmood is, he could potentially trouble the Aussies more than Mahmood.
He's a big Gooner too cmon yeah

Now having said all that, they will probably go and pick Mahmood now lol

Yes I did!  When is the team announced?  I can change before they start can't I?

I remember James from his dyed hair!  But didn't his form drop?  But then what do I know?  I don't have your sporting prowess!  notworthy
