Russia did nothing in the entire game. What does Fabregas need to do to get in the side? By far their best player and he's controlled every game when he's come. Xavi and Iniesta will be ineffective against Germany and they'll have already lost by the time Aragones gets him on. Not complaining though. The little he plays the better.  |

I would be okay with Germany winning the European Championships because Fabregas won't play. I've never liked Sergio Ramos, and therefore, I've never liked Spain. C'mon the Germans!

What a pile of sh*t Torres has been in this tournament. How on Earth he scored 24 premiership goals I don't know. Playing against proper defenders every game has really showed him up.

Its true, he's had a bad tournament, but to say the defences he's faced here are better then in the prem is rubbish, IMO, with the obvious exception of Italy.

Yes obviously an exaggeration. But he has been rubbish. Although not all the defences he has faced have been better than Chelsea or United, I do think he's faced much more worthy opponents here than the likes of Darren Moore or Senderos who are closer to the quality he faces most weeks in the league. Anyway it's all irrelevant. Can only beat what's in front of you and all that. Expected Arshavin to do a bit more against Spain but he never got into the game. |
