It is actually a district of Liverpool, just spent a few days there.  Interesting to drive down the Melling Road, right through the centre of the racecourse.

I think you have a very good racing track out there right? I think it held F1 ages ago, not sure.

Oh my god what a hell of a day at work!!  I'm glad Grand National is once a year I couldn't take it otherwise!  I'm shattered.

My dads horses fell...........my mums horse fell..............my horse pulled up...........

Ballycassidy fell at the 24th fence!! ARGH!!! WAS SOOOOOOOOOO FAR in front. WOuld have been minted if it had won!!! ARGH!!!!!

All in all a good race but a rubbish year for my family........

Well I went to Aintree yesterday for the big race... had a great time!!!

I managed to back both the winner Numbersixvalverde AND the second place horse Hedgehunter! Smile I backed the winner Hedgehunter last year as well... so that's two years in a row that I've picked the winner!!! Laugh in ya face guys Smile

My dad backed Hedgehunter, and my mum and brother both backed Clan Royal... so between us we backed the first, second, and third place horses. Not bad going, eh?! My sister backed Ballycassidy too.

The weather even ended up nice and sunny... what a day, and that's over £80 in my pocket. Brill!

(Not to rub your nose in it people Smile)
