Anyone else watching? Been watching all evening and it's pretty close thus far. Looking like the Westwood/Clarke - Mickelson/DiMarco match is the key one this morning. I'll probably be glued to it all weekend, who else is interested?

That's the wind getting up so second matches may suit the Europeans.
Monty/Padriag(sp) have a good chance to get one back here.

Bugger clashing with the tennis.
(don't normally watch golf, only the Ryder Cup once every two years is not bad)

My Dad is a golf obsessive so will not leave his armchair all weekend lol. I'm fairly interested in the big tournaments. Always watch what I can of the majors and most of the Ryder Cup. Just can't get into the weekly PGA or European tournaments though, can't be bothered. My Dad on the other hand will watch it whatever it is.

On the last hole........1up.......the worst if can be is 2-2 after the fourballs! Let's hope it's 2.5-1.5 Europe!

Phew, good work Westwood and Clarke. Good to be ahead, but I have to say, it could easily have been 3-1 to us. How many putts did Monty and Harrington miss? Seemed like every hole once they were down they had a putt to win the hole and it just missed. Finally they got a couple and full credit to them taking it to the 18th. They could have easily won that match had the putts gone in. And Casey & Karlsson were 3 up at 1 point too, could easily have been a much better morning for Europe. Still, good result to be ahead.

I was following this in my business class. Unlucky Monty and Paidraig, but I still think Europe have the edge, with two of the foursomes ties being lead by Europe. Could be 3 in a row for Europe.

Harrington/McGinley and Campbell/Johnson's match was haved. Donald/Garcia earn a two-hole win over Woods/Furyk. Howell/Stenson and Cink/Toms's match was halved.
Europe lead 4.5-2.5
