I watched the match last night (delayed coverage) but kept an eye on the live scores whilst out for coffee. A match that I was expecting England to get stuffed but thought they could be stronger in the 2nd half, which they were. Very Happy

So disappointed.  Scotland could and should have won but in the end the strength of the French back row was just too much.  They did well nevertheless to hang on in when down to 14 men.  Showed great team composure too to score the only try of the match.  Hopefully we'll do better next Sunday at Murrayfield because the fire and ambition is there, which should please Vern Cotter. cmon yeah

Wales vs Scotland, 26-23.  Very good match though and one either team could have won, so well done Wales!

It's just unfortunate that it was marred a little by some pretty rough stuff that the ref chose to ignore.

Yes, the ref was shocking and should've been much more pro-active in the last 20 minutes. But I think during the course of the match both sides suffered/benefited. eg you could argue the first yellow should've been a red.

I agree.  I thought initially the first yellow card should have been a red, but after they showed replays in slow motion I wasn't so sure, although it was still an ugly incident which could have had serious consequences.  The ref could have done with issuing 2 or 3 more though.

Gutted! Italy score a try, which they convert, in the dying seconds of the match, so beat Scotland 22-19.  Now Scotland could well be heading for the Wooden Spoon. Frown

Tell me about it, talk about an eleventh hour bit of luck for Italy.

Oh dear, another match lost in the last few moments Frown After Laidlaw came off, I must add. And 2 yellow cards too.
Fair play to Italy tho., if only they had a kicker who could convert, they woud've won anyway. Luke MaClean: man of match, with a name like that should be playing for Scotland! BTW do know he is Italian/Aussie.
Aileen   hug
Not at all confident about Wales tbh  Think Have looked horribly stale. And if Gatland plays Cuthbert, he deserves a kicking Rolling Eyes
At least tomorrow I'll be able to relax and enjoy Whistle

So has Biggar scored a try for Wales or not?  Yes he has say the decision makers.  Halfpenny slips and fails to convert what was a difficult kick anyway, but at least Wales still have a good lead, 14-6. Halfpenny makes no mistake kicking a penalty though, 17-6.

Now Wales score a try which is converted by Halfpenny from a tricky angle.  17-13.  Another beautiful penalty kick by Halfpenny, 20-13.

And 20-13 it is.  Well done Wales!

Phew! Got a bit  nervous when French got that try! Could not figure why Parra came off, key to French team, but have just heard he was injured. Shame. He's gr8.

Really looking forward to the match. Am a neutral on this  but I think Ireland have to win to give Wales half a shout at the trophy. So Ireland it is yay
The English have JJ a player so talented and capable of fizz and magic, I am green with envy he is not Welsh. And the Irish have Sexton, a legend in his own lifetime.
Hoping for a cracking game  yay
