BBC interactive on council telly, I think....
doh Could have watched it. Had to make do with the radio.

This is the most complicated draw I've ever seen!
I don't think it's complicated. Smile  Think Although it's probably more complicated than the Euro 08 draw. (I'm taking about the European part of the WC draw.

I like Scotland's draw.  w00t cmon yeah England's... lol  nervous Think

The play-off space should be ours if we play to our potential - don't see us knocking Holland off top spot.

Tough group for England, all of the Eastern European countries throw up difficult away trips.

Hmmm, they are definitely one of the better top seeds to have in the group with us. Still think they'll have that extra edge over us.

I do actually like Holland as a country, something ingrained in me from the Dick Advocaat reign at Rangers I guess. Smile

Not too bad tbh. We both could have had worse draws. Should be between Scotland and Norway for the playoff spot in their group and I'd back the Scots.

Should be between us and Ukraine for our group's playoff spot. Other Eastern European teams unfortunately, but they are teams we should be beating if we deserve to qualify. It will be a very similar story to the Euro qualifying, only it's Ukraine instead of Russia. The away match there is a banker defeat so the home match means everything. If we lose at home to Ukraine, we're out, in fact probably also if we draw it. The rest won't matter. So assuming both matches go to the home side, as happened in the Euro, it will go down to who drops less points against the 3 poxy teams, again as it did in the Euro. Whatever happens, it will go right to the last 10 minutes of the last match as it always does. And there will be a goal that decides it either way.

Still, you never know. Maybe we won't lose twice to Croatia as assumed! lol

Wales have no chance, but Ireland have got a good chance of making the playoffs. As have Northern Ireland.

There's a couple of easy groups. What a poxy one group 2 is! Greece, Israel, Switzerland, Moldova, Latvia, Luxembourg. It would be nice to see Israel make it for once. They usually seem to just miss out and they won't have a better chance than this to get there.

Yes. Group 8, Italy have the top spot for sure. The battle comes between Bulgaria and Ireland. I think Ireland have a great chance. But we first got to secure victory over Cyprus... Frown (no more of last year!!)

Liking our group very much. Being half Dutch and all.  Plus Holland arent as great as they once were. They really struggled in the last qualifying session. We can nick 1st but should easily get 2nd!

And I have a couple of Holland tops!!!

It was the USA part I was watching when I wrote that. It was bizarre. Scotland's draw isn't too bad at all. Certainly not when you consider the group we just came out off. Tough luck for England drawing Croatia and Andora again!
