Think we should separate from the Qualification thread and begin the finals thread.

Anyone else just watch the draw? How annoying was Charlize Theron? You could see the FIFA guy getting more annoyed with every stupid comment. lol

The draw:

Group A: South Africa, Mexico, Uruguay, France
Group B: Argentina, Nigeria, Korea Republic, Greece
Group C: England, USA, Algeria, Slovenia
Group D: Germany, Australia, Serbia, Ghana,
Group E: Netherlands, Denmark, Japan, Cameroon
Group F: Italy, Paraguay, New Zealand, Slovakia
Group G: Brazil, Korea DPR, Côte d'Ivoire, Portugal
Group H: Spain, Switzerland, Honduras, Chile

Fairly happy with the group for us. Couldn't really have hoped for better, perhaps aside from USA. Fairly confident we should be able to progress but we really need to win the group to avoid Germany. There are some really tough groups and on paper at least we probably got the best deal of the top seeds along with Spain. Can't see New Zealand managing a point in their group.

Amazing draw for England - they'll walk it.

Not sure who to support, always love watching the Dutch, it'll probably be them!

Really tough group for South Africa. Think we might see the host nation fail to make it past the 1st round for the first time.

Cannot believe how tough a group Australia (my "other" team due to them having Reading keeper Adam Federici) have got!

Looking at our group, you'd have to say each team would be pretty delighted with it. Especially in the case of USA. They could have had a Brazil, Portugal, Ivory Coast group but instead have got on paper probably the weakest teams from each pot (with the exception of South Africa, but you never really want to play the host nation) so it's pretty much the best case scenario for them. Same with Algeria and Slovenia really.

The reaction here is that the Kiwis are pretty happy with their draw. I'll be amazed if they get a point but the guys from my football team at least reckon they have a chance to go through. Will be interesting.

I think England have a great draw - if they don't top the group, then they should hang their heads in shame.

Tough groups for the Aussies and Kiwis yes

Good draw for England. I will be supporting Holland due to my Grandfather being from there!

I will be supporting Holland and Spain. Portugal v/s Brazil will be an interesting match with Ronaldo and Kaka.
