World Cycling Championships 2008
« on: March 28, 2008, 12:50 PM »
No-one seems to have brought this subject up so I will, GB are doing great, 4 Golds and 1 Silver already.
With more gold chances today from Chris Hoy and Victoria Pendleton.

Just watching the Highlights show. Chris Hoy was AMAZING in that race. Brilliant against what seemed quicker young boy. Awesome.
And the women's pursuit were brilliant as well! Another world best time!
6 Gold's and counting!

I just checked up, there are only 18 events in total! That means GB won half the events! I wonder if any country is as dominant in any sport like we are in track cycling... I'd guess not.

They did great, I was hanging off my seat at the Madison when Bradley Wiggins made a last gasp bid for an extra lap, the crowd were roaring him and Cav on. Shame Victoria didn't make it 10 golds though, she was gutted.
