I am PRAYING with every fibre of my being that this happens.Don't get me wrong-if he comes back raring to go in Jan and takes the AO I'll be there cheering him on and celebrating every step of the way (obviously)! But this, above all the others,is the one I really want for him in '13.

Just got a strange feeling and you have to go with your feelings. Results aren't always so straight forward, anything could happen.

Oh heck - I can't really think about next year right now, but I'd go along with your choice of Djoko and Murray for YERs.  I'd love to see Delpo in the top five with Fed well and truly on the slippery slope, but I've a feeling Fed will only slip down as far as No.4 with Delpo at No.5 - assuming, that is, that Nadal can get to No.3, although I don't care to make predictions about him.  After 6 months out, how quickly can he get back to the level he was at before his latest injury struck?  How long before his knee(s) pack in again?  As for the rest, I'll leave that to the experts.  Btw, I like how you've got Nishi at No.9, when it wasn't all that long ago you were predicting he wouldn't even make the top 30!

As for the Slams, if Nadal finds his old form then, yes, the French - otherwise I can see Djokovic winning it.  Murray should win Wimbledon but the levels of expectation on him to do so are going to be greater than ever now, so it depends on how well he can handle that pressure plus the pressure he'll put on himself.  As for Oz and the USO - definitely Djokovic or Murray, with Murray the favourite to defend his USO title.

I just want Andy to keep improving next year. 2012 saw him be far more assertive on his forehand wing which was a vast improvement and he also defended his 2nd serve very well throughout the course of the year.

In 2013 he should be looking to come to the net more to finish points off. Andy is a very good volleyer with good technique and would make life a lot easier if he came in behind some big groundstrokes. I hope he can keep progressing as if he does we are in for a treat.

Well, I still don't rate Nishikori, but he keeps climbing the charts, so I can't argue with stats. For the record, I think his stay in the top ten will be short-lived.

There was barely any change this year in the top 10, with Gasquet and Del Potro breaking in ahead of Fish (injury problems) and Almagro (only marginally dropped).

I don't think there will be much next year. Just no-one really breaking through, and the top guys are more consistent.

I'm not going to predict who could break the top 10, because it's just impossible to say. Raonic and Nishikori both have the talent, but will they find the consistency and stay injury-free? Cilic is another who could break the top 10 (his ranking is very impressive given he missed the first quarter of the year including the AO).

I don't think anyone wilb reak the top 4, I think Ferrer and Del Potro will be 5 and 6 (although I don't know which order), I think Berdych will be 7. After that it's anyone's guess between Tsonga, Isner, Raonic, Gasquet, Cilic, Nishikori, Almagro.
