3 Brits into the final round of qualifying after each of them won 2 matches today.

So tomorrow we have:

Thanks.  This is good stuff. Let's hope Boggo can make it into the main draw.  Grass should suit him well.

Boggo won and drew Dimitrov in R1. lol  clap
Cox lost in strights and Evans actually got a set off of Tursunov before losing 6-4 in the 3rd.

Loving the Centre Court OOP for tomorrow: Baker's match, Ward's match, then Nishikori v Gasquet and Boggo v Dimitrov.  yay

Where is Ancic in the draw? I thought he got a wildcard?

Ancic-Cilic would be amazing/bizarre haha. They are basically the same player but about 5 years apart!

Nope, he's out.

Who's out ... Ancic?  Already?

Yeah I saw an article from around 3 weeks ago on LTA site about him getting a WC, but that's the last I've seen.

I can't find his name on the draw either.

Well, he was on the list of players which I think I posted on here ... so wonder what happened ...

Short mention towards the end of this article. Seems he has a back injury.

Thanks for the link Yamor.  What a shame.  I wonder if he will ever get back.  Do you know, offhand, how old he is?

He is only 26. Incredible. However, we have seen many great players retire before they are 30.

Imo, he and Henman are up there as the best players never to have won a Grand Slam.
