Just about to watch Anne Keothavong play in the quarter final of the ASB Classic here in Auckland. This is the women's ATP event here the week before the men's Heineken Open. It attracts a lower class of player due it's low status but we do have Dementieva here this year and she is through to the semi final. Keothavong is playing Ayumi Morita of Japan.

You can watch this tournament online for free here. Just need to register to the site for free. The Heineken Open will also be streamed on there next week. Smile

Wow. Has she ever got this far at a WTA tournament?

It's her 2nd semi final appearance. She'll play the winner of Elena Vesnina and Caroline Wozniacki who play this evening.

Vesina wins 6-3 0-6 6-3.
OOP not out yet but I would expect it to be the night match tomorrow as the other 2 semi finalists (Rezai and Dementieva) played in the morning/early afternoon today.

Vesnina won 6-7(3) 6-1 7-5. Frown

If a semi-final was offered for Anne at the start of the week then we'd have taken it.  So well done Anne. Just a shame about today.
