It's funny how only two players have qualified so far.  It just goes to prove how nip 'n' tuck the top spots are at the moment.

There's a 900 point gap between 9th and 11th, without a big run from someone it's a pretty dull race for the WTF this year.

Even so, I'll be much happier when my favourite players get their 'Q'!

Djokovic is literally 99.9% there, and Murray and Soderling are probably 95% there.

Well, I'll feel easier when that final 5% is achieved (for Andy of course)!

Don't worry Ruthie.  It is almost impossible for Andy not to qualify.  The lower ranked players will have to gain sufficient points (SF (360), F (600) or win (1000)) in the coming MS to overtake Andy and push him down from 4th to 9th.

The fact that they are lower ranked is precisely the reason why this won't happen.  Maybe two or three might (e.g. Roddick or Ferrer) but not all 5 players below him ! Also, someone in the top 8 tends to get injured around this time and pulls out (e.g. Davydenko) which lets in the 9th ranked person.

In the worst possible scenario that Andy doesn't qualify, he will gain 1 extra week of rest to train and prepare with his new coach for the AO.   It is a win/win situation lol

Thanks for the reassurance Philip.  I hate to take things for granted!  But while an extra week's rest might be win-win for Andy it would be lose-lose for me as I've booked for it just so that I can see Andy live for the first time. Whistle

Me too!  It seems to be coming around a lot quicker than it did last year.  I'll be there before I know it!

Yeah but being sat on your own is a bit boring. Especially after having travelled so far on my own.

True, I went to Wimbledon on my own and you feel pretty **** at times haha.

Watching the tennis etc is fine. But queuing, walking about for food and when it was 100000000+ degrees and trying to chill on the hill was a bit ****.
