Oh dear - 1st set to Fed. Frown    Trouble is Nadal must be tired after yesterday.  Unfortunately I think Andy would have been struggling too.  Fed is on fire!

I really don't want Fed to win this. Hope Rafa picks up this set. He's just put that one out UE probably. How come Fed is so wonderful he won't concede he's not No.1 anymore - suppose you have to admire his fighting spirit but it's little wonder that Andy, Sod & others have such a hard time getting a GS with these two around. Ahhh Fed is 15 - 40 c'mon Rafa!!!  Nadal breaks!  yay yay

Fed's had a pretty easy tournament, plus he had a day's break before the SF.

However Nadal breaks. yay

2nd set Nadal.  Sloppy play from Fed in this set.  Hardly gripping stuff this.  Not the first time a SF has been better than a final.

Okay ... 1 apiece, so honour satisfied.  Wonder if Nadal can get up for it in the third.  Agree with Boogers - not nearly as exciting as yesterday's first semi.

Of the finalists over the last 20 years in this tournament 12 of 40 have gone onto reach the final at the next AO and 1 year has had the AO final. Though of those who get to the final of the AO, 9 of the 10 have gone onto win the final.
