Trainer on for Djoko. Monaco just won first set 6-4. 48 minutes played.

Retirement likely?

It appears that two of the top seeds are out of form Andy was terrible today and Nole struggling with his sore ankle.

Djoko wins 2nd set 6-2. Six matches completed so far today, all fairly one-sided straight sets wins. Good to get a third set. But if Djoko wins today, hope he'll be fit to continue tomorrow.

Nieminen v Del Potro 6-4 1- 2, Delpo a break up

I think Djoko is taking a risk playing with this injury as he can afford to lose some points .  He will only lose 510 or 420.  I cannot see Andy catching him at the moment.  I cannot imagine that he would be worried about the money.

Nieminen upsets Del Potro in a final set breaker.

Murray, Berdych and Del Potro all bounced in the 3rd round. Wow.

Only 4 of the top 10 make the QFs.

Also Dimitrov seems to have gone under the radar this week. Into his first Masters QF with wins over Malisse, Tipsarevic and Mayer. Plays Nadal tomorrow. Looking forward to that one

Will climb to around #27. Currently #22 in race rankings.

Would have liked Nole to join that club, really lol but he keeps escaping. Nadal looks to be very in-form at the moment. I am not sure if I want Nole to meet with him at this point.

Dimitrov is definitely putting out some good performance there.

^ I don't find gamesmanship funny. He was clearly exhausted and merely wanted a little rest.

Pretty bizarre tournament so far.  It certainly puts Andy's loss a little more into perspective.

Berdych actually went out pretty straight today too. I love watching Fognini on clay though so I am hoping I'll get to see him sometime soon.

@Aileen
Just lost crucial point at end of tie break, goes and sits down and demands trainer. Was watching a Spanish stream and as far as I could make out the umpire told him to get on with it, which in due course, after a nice rest, he did.

I was happy that Neimanin won he played very well. Del Potro wanted the trainer during the tie break I was so glad he was refused pure gamesmanship he deserved to loose cannot stand that you should win fair.
