Did anyone watch the Williams/Jankovic match?  Bizarre behaviour from Serena.

That's her all over the place. She very nearly lost the lead with Jankovic having BP at 5-4. She hit a good ace though and closed it out.

I was watching some of the time - she was leading 5-1 in the 3rd wasn't she? Then it was very nearly 5-5. Some very strange stuff.

It was quite similar to the two meltdowns Serena had against Razzano and Lisicki last year at the French and this year at Wimbledon.

A counter puncher like Andy always fights back.

It was embarrassing, at least for me,to watch Serena. With a two-break-lead in the decider she gave a genuine drama queen. Now I am watching Federer and have new hope he might eventually fail. He already served for the match, could not do it, though. Astonishing! And in the TB, pospisil held his nerves.

Fed could have served out the match in the 2nd, but Vasek took it to TB.

Fed played very well in 1st and most of 2nd, but Popsy just refuses to lie down. Love that never say die attitude he has.

Too bad Popsicle is having a bad serving day; were he serving better, he probably could've won this already. He's at 25% first serves in the 3rd set and 42% for the match. 10 aces but 4 doubles. He can serve sooooo much better!

Missed the first set.  Vasek never gives you.  Enjoy all his matches.

I  much prefer this lad's tennis to Raonic's - he has so much potential.  A great pity he hasn't been able to get his first serve working more consistently today - he's down at about 40% at the moment.

Too right, Janet.. but even when he started getting his 1st serve rhythm going, he messed up Rog's short ball gifts.

Overall he's played a poor game by his standards. He has sooo much potential.

I read that the goal for Vasek and his coach here and in Paris is to get him into the top 30 so he's seeded for the AO. I agree with y'all. His game is much more exciting to watch (for me) than Milos' and he's got loads of potential. He's definitely not playing his best today at all.
