Really impressive by Gulbis. He's got a perfect 5-0 record in finals, and this win has taken him to a career-high ranking of number 18.

Hope he can keep this level up this season (and show it in the slams). He's unquestionably got the talent to be a consistent top 20 player.

yes he's got the talent but too arrogant in the way he comes over for my liking and he's wasted the talent for so much of his career so far. Sorry that JWT didn't win as like him very much.

I wouldn't say Gulbis is arrogant, he's just got a very odd sense of humour, and his post match interviews in Marseille have been pretty funny. He's finally starting to show what he's made of, which is good. He still has many years to go, so I think he will win a Slam or two.

Nadal wins 6-3 7-6. I only joined the match at 4-2 in the 2nd so saw a bit more than I expected!

Boring match.

Was Dolgo moaning about how long Nadal was taking to serve or just unhappy.

Highlights of Gulbis v Gasquet.
Blimey! He can certainly play. Will be very, very dangerous if he can keep this up....operative word being if, of course.

I see that Dominic Thiem has been beaten in the Qualies in Mexico be D.Goffin, so it looks as if he was having a very good day and all his shots were hitting the lines in Rotterdam.
