ATP/WTA Tour - The Other Players

Quote

Gulbis is a decent player and he's fun to watch, I don't understand the hate.
No hating from me, Connor. no
If Ernie's tennis skills can match Johnny Mac's, that's good entertainment value for the beautiful game of tennis.

Story going round on another site, Ernie's father threw a cup of hot coffee in a waiter's face, because breakfast was late. Waiter lost sight in one eye.
Like father like son?
I personally find Ernie an arrogant t**t.

His dad was a twat and I believe Ernie came to blows with him and went his independent way, that's why we never see Ernie's parents or have no info on them.

I love Gulbis; tennis needs more characters like him. Baghdatis is another great one. Janowicz too.

I sort of quite like a few tantrums. Used to love McEnroe because of that. Novak apparently smashed a racket today they all have their moments. I think sometimes (as long as no one gets hurt) it can be fun.  Unless Andy does it and let's it affect his game o course. Lol

Berdy/Fognini a good match, with berdboy going down a set.

Tsonga beat Melzer 6-3, 6-0. I didn't see the match but Tsonga must have been playing really well to win by a scoreline like that.

Berdych's down a break in the second set now too.

Didn't see it - but Tsonga's 1st serve was 43%! 38% in 2nd set. Seems that was good enough.

I read on twitter that Melzer had problems with his left hip so that probably explains the bagel. I see that Berdych's lost - what a result for Fognini!
