Haase is suddenly playing well in this tournament. 3-0 up in first set TB against Tsonga.

Lost the tie-break though - apparently he's the first player to lose 16 consecutive tie-breaks. Not the sort of record he'd want, I'm sure!

Yep - make that 17 consecutive tie-breaks that Haase has lost. Hope he wins one again soon!

Since he's so terrible in TBs, the ideal scenario for him would be to develop a more of a return game, so that he can create more opportunities for himself. But TBs do come down to mental abilities first since it tends to be very intense.

Both Ferrer and Tsonga won. Wawa is up a break in the 1st. 4-2.

Felt so sorry for Hasse. He just seems unable to finish a match without going to a tie break. Hope his luck changes soon.

I feel sorry for Youzhny. He walked on to the court looking half asleep and Nadal's killing him.

Nadal's still flirting with the time violations. I don't agree with the situation as it is now, it's daft, but I'd love to see an umpire dock Nadal a point, just to see his reaction.
