Absolutely Rachie. It's ridiculous. Surely there has to be a way to ensure things are fair all around. I know you can't predict how ling matches will take, but still.

Indian Wells still leaves a bad taste in my mouth this year. I still feel it was rigged for Rafa. I know that's an awful thing to say, but it is what I think. I still don't get how it is acceptable under the rules for a player to stay with a tournament owner during a tournament. What on earth is the ATP thinking to allow that to happen? Doesn't that set the game up for suggestions of rigging?

Given what has happened at Madrid, with the commentators reporting the courts are designed with Nadal in mind, plus the timing of his matches, I really don't know why the other players are not making more of a fuss. The timing of Murray's match against Berdych was an example - common sense would have involved scheduling it last, after his late night. That's not to say he would have beaten Berdych given his record on clay, but it would have been fairer.

Spanish "sport" stinks at the moment, with the attitude of the authorities towards the doping doctor.

It seems that it's against the law for a Spaniard to beat Rafa in Spain.  Thankfully, Stan isn't Spanish - c'mon Stan!!!!!

Carreno-Busta gets to the SF of an ATP event and still has to qualify for a CHALLENGER event. What?

Golubev won a 500 event before. He still has to qualify for Challengers.

Carreno-Busta barely played in 2012. He has no points from June 2012 onwards. So whilst he's been in great form this year, he effectively only has half points of a full ranking. Reaching the SFs of a 250 is only worth 90 points (same as winning many challengers - which many other players have done, yet are ranked below him).

The cut is insanely high for a CH (#147) as it's a 110 CH.

So yes, he has to qualify.

I'm sure he will, the field in Bordeaux is tough with the 1st seed being Goffin and 2nd Llodra and the likes of Alund, Monfils, Ouanna (young Monf) and Roger Vasselin all in the draw. Carreno-Busta though will have a firm chance of winning here if he qualifies though.

Indeed. Bordeaux is a nice warm up for the lower ranked players leading into RG.

Break fest so far. Pablo has just broken back after being 3-1 down. He also had to break at 2-0

I'd like to be impartial, but I can't!

Carreno has played more matches and tournaments than any other player in 2013. It's bound to catch up with him soon.
