If anyone fancies doing a Suicide Pool for the Aussie Open, here's the link you need:

It works like this: for each day of play, you have to pick just one winner each from the men's and women's draw out of all the matches played that day. But, once you pick someone, you cannot choose them again for the rest of the tournament. So you really don't want to pick, for example, Novak to win in early matches.

To win the suicide pool, you have to go through every day of the tournament picking a winner.

I did one once and it was actually pretty good fun. You'll need to register at Talk About Tennis.

I do a "Bracket Challenge" for the Slams and Masters' 1000. That's also good fun because not only do you play as an individual, you play as a team/pool as well. Very difficult not to put Andy winning every time though....

I picked Donald Young 1st day and Monfils 2nd. I didn't bother with the WTA cause me doing well would've relied more on luck than judgement.

We should post our choices each day to keep track of MW members left in the game.

I'm still in (only just) and I've gone for Berdych for tomorrow. I'm looking at the whole draw, attempting to use strategy but it's tough since I've never played this before. I think I need practice at a few more GSs to develop a better gameplan.

Got through with Berdych then realised that I had to take a risk to stand any chance of beating the draw so I've gone for Nishikori to beat Benneteau.

Somehow I've managed to make it to the final 21 out of 359. From now on the picks will be centred around a Murray GS victory (what kind of MW member would I be if they weren't!) so Tsonga will be my next pick since I have to assume he will lose against Andy.

Thanks Grabcopy for introducing me to this pool - it's made watching the AO even more exciting than previous years.
