I watched the match. I don't think Fed played particularly well. It was more that Tsonga lost it rather than Fed won it. Some of Feds shots were dire. I think it's like the Olympic final, if the right Murray comes out in the right mood it will be a foregone conclusion, and Fed will be packing his bags. Otherwise the trophy will be Djokovic's. His team need to remind him he can do it without any problem, that he slaughtered Fed and DJ in the Olympics, and he has the US Open trophy. I also thought Chardy was a complete realist - he knew exactly why he beat Murray at Cinc, i.e.. he was mentally all over the place at the time. Normal service was likely to be resumed today. I also wonder if the shadows were a big factor in him messing up serving it out. Either way he has maintained his points and Berdych and Raonic have been put back in their places. I do feel quite sorry for Tsonga - he has never really got any of the trully big prizes. It must be a bit soul destroying.

I don't think Chardy was able to play his best level; his previous two matches went into the 5th and 4th sets respectively. We need to take those into accounts as well. On the other hand, Andy came well prepared. So in fair assessment, I'd say Chardy could have given Andy a couple of tight sets had he been fresh. Andy was by far the fresher of the two and it does help.

Just caught up on Fed/Tsonga match, watched the whole thing.
Poor Jo.. but good to see him fit, aggressive and not afraid to come to net. Rasheed has clearly helped him in several areas, and I look forward to seeing some good stuff from him this year.
Fed left the door open to Tsonga many times. Jo stepped in for some, but then walked back out again.
Fed was on his 'B' game today, and I can't wait for Andy to bring his 'A' to him tomorrow.

What happened to Sharapova?!
Why does Ferrer always just roll over against Djokovic?

Watching it, but don't know why I am bothering. It's like a cat with a mouse - no contest. Very painful to watch.

Li Na was playing really well.
Djokovic is miles better than Ferrer.

This a farce of a semi-final. Could be a R1 match for all the fight Ferrer is putting up.

Ferrer has won a whopping 4 points against Djokovic's serve. From 8 games.
That's embarrassing.

This is almost a rout. My OH was just saying that this year he has felt the David has not been moving as well as usual. I must say I have that feeling as well.

This is definitely a rout.
Djokovic's easiest match of the tournament.

Averaged a point every other game on Djokovic's serve. Won only 45% points on his own serve and broken seven times.
Annihilated.

Nole definitely played extrememly well but Ferrer seemed below par. Nole is feeling very confident now. He played incredibly(his own words).
