Yes, I'm inclined to agree going on the way Rafa so nearly lost that match with Fish. He said in his post match chat with Mark Petchey that he had a stomach problem. Maybe it will be short lived and he will be over it by Wed p.m. - I certainly hope so I dislike Fed more and more.

He certainly didn't look comfortable - not himself at all - I think he was just glad to get through it.  Let's hope he's fully recovered for tomorrow and can show Smugfed a thing or two!

All in all looking pretty good for Roger, Pretty sure Rafa will be back tomorrow hopefully he is always a handful when fully fit.

But on these courts and in these surroundings, it is pretty hard to see anyone stop Roger defending his title, possibly only Novak if he is 100% fit

Greatest rivalry in our sport! Lookign forward to a great contest tomorrow Rgoer will be a big favourite on this surface and given they are playing indoors but you can never count out Rafa.

Roger to win in 2 tight sets

Yeah I also fear Federer in 2. I hope for Nadal in 3. Better than the Davydenko debacle which I witnessed 2 years ago anyway!

Rafa didn't look too well last night - hope he improves for tomorrow.  Am I right in thinking that they are presently tied on game set/game difference?

It doesn't go by the difference, it goes by percentage, so Federer is slightly ahead.

If either wins in straight sets, he'll have definitely qualified. Alternatively, if the winner's opponent from Sunday wins as well, then even a 3-set win would guarantee qualification.

Considering Gregs input intonights match...i'm going for HIM to ne Andy's next coach. Think Peter Fleming mentioned that Andy could do worse than listen to him re. Refining his service motion. .Whick seemed to go totally oray today

these finals are quite unpredictable, i would say federer, berdych, djokovic all have chances as does ferrer, hopefully murray can recover and take out 2 of the above 3 in his group, but we will see

My word, that was an epic choke.

Berdych really does epitomise all that is annoying about ball bashers.

It's going to be very hard for Andy to progress now, especially carrying an injury. Wouldn't surprise me to see him pull out tomorrow, given his demeanour in the press conference. He didn't look or sound optimistic. I think his year's over, although I hope it's not (as I'm going along on Wednesday night!).

So how was the Nole/Tomas match?  I only watched via livescores.  Did the No.1 struggle as the scores suggest?  Serve stats were 58% 1st set, 82% 2nd set, and 57% 3rd set for Nole.  Tomas didn't get above 50% all match. Think
