Ace on last point - that's over and done with.. Andy looks absolutely gutted.. and obviously it's understandable.  hug
Overall.. well it wasn't their best ever game. I think something was missing in both Greg's and Andy's play.. while the Serbs really played well.

Some dissing of Andy though from the commentators, when he was leaving court.  ranting Im sorry but.. that's no a way to thank the number 1 tennis player in Britain, even though it wasn't the best match.  ranting
There was swearing.. but no need to emphasise that on British TV.  ranting

Oh dear.

Hmmmm. Didn't really work today did it?

Shocking that he wouldn't shake the umpires hand - as the commentators said - it wasnt the umpire who lost the match...

Oh thats not on. Although its easy to sit here and say that....but still, common courtesy and all that - would make him look the better man for shaking the umpires hand....

Yep, i thought he might have said something like that because they showed his face and the comment was definitly something harsh.

I don't know, i guess Andy really doesn't mean it, but it's just frustration and in the moment sort of thing. But still.. at home.. in front of his own crowd..

Huge mistake by Bates. Should have played Murray in singles against Djokovic and played Rusedski/Auckland in the doubles. Murray would have beat Djokovic and the tie would be sealed by Murray beating that Tipex guy. We can't win now. Rusedski has to played Djokovic and there is very little chance he will win. Another tactical brainfart by Bates.

If at first you don't succeed, you fail.
