Give me GSTQ any day before "Flower of Scotland", which, incidentally, was never intended to be our national anthem. It's a beautiful song in its own right - a lament really - completedly murdered when sung by sporting crowds. If you've ever listened to Ron Brown of The Corries, who composed it, singing it then you'll know what I mean.
Also I'm old enough to remember when the British national anthem was the only one sung at sporting events in Scotland, and anyway this is a British event, not a Scottish one.
Exactly I'm fine with different athems if it's 'Scotland' 'England' 'N Ireland' 'Wales' playing but when it's for GB then GSTQ all the way I'd rather Scotland sang Loch Lomond or Highland Cathedral instead of Flower of Scotland now

It's weird hearing "God Save The Queen" in Scotland.
Mega weird! As it's not played really anymore for, maybe 20 years, can't remember off hand. But it sounds strange to hear it there.

Ah shame ... 2-1 to GB. Can Ward last the pace though?

Great work from Wardy hanging in there - and all for the love of his country.

Well done James now looking forward to watching Andy's match. Let's hope it a nice easy match where we can just sit back and admire his skill.
