Yup, Murray would have had a great chance if Federer played like that. Sure his serving made it it extremely hard to break him but if Murray was on form, then he would have probably handled them.

It was one of those "we'll never know" things isn't it? I never thought Roddick could play 2 matches on the trot at that level, I was wrong.
Andy, on his day, can take down everyone (Rafa he was just beginning to beat).
But to win a slam you have to be on top of your opponent for 7 matches. Muzza wasn't. So we'll all go round in circles thinking "what if"

Me, I'm looking forward to Cincinnatti and the American hard court season, cause this is a very flat few weeks now without any tennis to get excited about. Crying or Very sad

They call it "the mini off season" for the top players. It's 4 or 5 weeks I think.

Ah, well that depends what tournaments you play. The official off-season runs from the DC final till Doha/Chennai/Brisbane. But that only involves 10 players. So...

Officially: 4 weeks
Non DC playing top 8: 5 weeks
Everyone else: 7 weeks
