I really wanted Ancic to win. He played very well, he had a lot of chances to break Federer but didn't make use of enough of them. He did get away with a lot of break points for Federer and I found it really brave how he played on such an important point.
I did really think Mario would be able to take a set off Federer or win the match. He would have fully deserved it.

Now it's official, all my favourite players have left the tournament: Gasquet, Ancic, Berdych, Monaco, Murray, O. Rochus, ... I'll have to set all my hopes on Kim!
Now I'm supporting Davydenko since I like him better than Nalbandian. I dislike Nadal and Federer, but I do prefer Nadal to Federer. I can say, Nadal plays excellent tennis.

I do think Ancic played incredibly well and he deserved every point he won. Well done, mate!

If at first you don't succeed, you fail.

Didn't catch any of Fed vs Ancic. School.  ranting

But i thought it would be closer than that.. looks like Fed is on a roll. Eh?

Nadal has not been playing up to snuff recently....... i think novak can pull off the upset.

Well i agree on the first bit.. (snuff?)  confused

But i think Novak can't pull it off. If he will - in a very close 5 setter.

Although i am hoping Rafa will win, if he doesn't - it's because he's nervous.. Should be a good match in any case.

They're due first on Chartrier Court tomorrow.  =D> =D> =D>

Followed by Benneteau and Ljubicic - should be interesting as well.

People may have at some time considered 'snuff' to be awesome and great, and many people, particularly some baseball players and southerners here in the US would still consider it to be so.  So David's initial assertion would still stand if this were the case.  Ick to tobocca for me, however, aweful stuff.

I thought you said snuff was a bad thing, that's why Neil said that.
