For the Carreno-Busta watchers - he's through to final round RG qualifying, beating 9th seed Joao Souza  6-1 2-6 6-1. Will play Vincent Millot for a place in the main draw

YAY! Cmon Busta, in Andy's absence you must go far in the MD.

I am increasingly suspicious of Rafa. His play-and-rest cycles are typical of a doper.

Thank you, whilst I am aware I can be over the top, it is reassuring that I am not alone in my suspicions.

I never knew that Nigel, but must admit I've been having serious doubts about him since his 'miraculous' comeback.

I'm backing Djoko to lift the trophy.  Have never been a Rafa fan anyway.

Also forgot to add Nishikori to my list of favourites.  I'd really like him to do well here because he's such a gutsy and determined player.

I must admit I have my suspicions. He has played well on the clay courts but how will he cope with other surfaces. We will wait and see what happens.

Touch the sky - and touch it he did.

I like Nishikori too and also forgot to name him in the list of those I'll be supporting.  Also Baggy but I fear his best days are past so don't imagine he'll be around for very long in the tournament.

Looking forward to seeing how the draw pans out tommorow. Hope novak and rafa are on opposites sides. Lets face it nobody wants to see a Fedal final at RG ( or anywhere for that matter!)

Hope tsonga and ferru do well would love one/both of them to be a big name in the Qfs/Sfs---would be awesome. Can u imagine if Jo made RG final w/ the french crowd behind him and how hot he blows---could be pretty entertaining!

What the hell are you talking about? Id rather see Fed v Nadal than Joker v Nadal. Joker v Nadal will be a 5 hour slug-fest with interminable baseline rallies. Fed at least goes for his shots and tries to win the point as soon as possible.

Did you watch the rome final? How was that one-sided affair in anyway entertaining? I'd rather see a competitive slugfest than a beatdown.

That was only Fed's 2nd clay court tournament. He'll be much better at the French.

At is peak Fed was just able able to take a set off Rafa on clay. unfortunalely its just a really bad matchup-- Rafa pummels his Fh to Feds Bh, and Feds Bh produces an error.  same old story.

Rafa- Ferrer, Rafa- tsonga, would all be far more competetive than Fedal.

I'm with you too - the comeback is just too good to be true.
