It's not worth it for the BBC, only a few hardcore British tennis fans would bother.

You have to pay the camera men and other crew to get it transmitted, that might not even be worth it.

Eaton won! toot cmon yeah Score was 6-3 4-6 7-6(5). Smile

Goodall was disapointing again today. He lost his opening service game in both sets.  doh

You'd be surprised about the number of people who actually follow British tennis throughout the year, as in it's more than you think.

I'm not 'in love' with Boggo, it just pisses me off the amount of unnecessary criticism he gets on here.  He clearly is not the world's best player, but does what he can with the talent he has, something that can't be said of Goodall, who apparetnly has won just 1 set out of the 23 he has played at GS, ATP and DC level.

I understand about following British tennis but this is a dead rubber at Davis Cup...

I disagree. All the British tennis guys have always said Boggo has lots of talent etc but he hasnt shown it in Davis Cup certainly. I dont' think he has done what he can with his talent.

It was actually a great weekend. Glasgow did itself a lot of favours this weekend. Was pretty full on Saturday and Sunday and there was a great atmosphere. Lots of fun, despite the loss!

Good posting!

yay I wasn't the only MWer there.

Davis Cup must return to Braehead! Indeed it should. yes

I would love to come back to Braehead with this type of atmosphere. It was phenomenal. It sounded like there was 12,000 in there. If Andy commits, it would certainly be high up in our options

I was a bit critical about the noise and support a few years ago but the venue has worked well.

I was there with my folks on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was a blast! Flemming really played fantastically well. Joining in with the 'Eaton's on fire' chants a particular high point. Lloyd should put those uni students on staff. Employ the cheerleaders at least. They could do a routine at half time!
