Oh yeah, I forgot about him. I think he has to win in Paris.

He's gonna be up there though. I think everyone's got decent points and I think it's obvious to see that because of the way the game changes it's probably impossible to come up with the ultimate. The achievements change in value. I mean, do we count things like length of career, age they started playing, injuries, technological advances, determination, shot variation, doubles ability? I think the easier, and probably fairer thing to do would be to have a hall of fame.

At the moment it's got to be Pete Sampras, even if clay was not his thing, with Agassi, Lendl and Chang up there.

But I seriously believe that we are currently watching the greatest ever player...which would be Fed. He's in a league above the rest. His tennis is just out of this world, watching him you gasp and think "How did he do that?" and "Where did that shot come from?" and who knows what he will be capable of if he has a full career?  I would desperately love to see him get The Grand Slam this year, as I think his talent deserves that accolade.

I watched Laver when the Open Era started, but it's a totally different game now. I hate to say it, but watching back some of Rosewall and Laver's classic matches is as boring as hell.  #-o

Wink  Now that's something you could still never say about a Connors or Johnny Mac game. Very Happy

But, as everyone knows my heart belongs to Pat Rafter, so for me he's the best tennis player ever (looking at the whole package Wink )

Grabc, you dont like Pat's serve and volley game?  shocking  shocking
