I reckon Hewitt has something to do with it - he probably put in a request to be scheduled earlier using last year's shenanigans as an excuse but he probably doesn't want a night session - full stadium of mad Aussie supporters because he knows there's a good chance he'll be out in round 1. Vamos the Gonzooooooooooooo!! cmon yeah

Was always guaranteed to be a 5 setter. Wish I'd put some money on it.

Well eurosport were saying the Gonzalez camp werent happy. The match was originally scheduled and advertised at night and eurosport even showed an interview Hewitt did with that Barbara bird and they were talking about it being a night match and what the conditions might me like.

Hewitts camp then asked for a day match because they felt it would play a bit faster which makes sense seing as Gonzalez is a natural clay courter.

Gonzalez was fist-pumping and giving Lleyton some glares as if to say, i'm the seed, I run the show and to be fair the right man won.

Hewitt asked for the day match cause he thought he would have a better chance. As I posted earlier i thought he should of gone night match. It was a quality match though and whatever anyone says about Hewitt, he never disappoints the Aussies. 5 sets and at the start of the 5th I thought he would win.
