I used to think the arrogant things that came out of Fed's mouth were because he wasn't sure of the English language.  But the more I listened to him the more I began to see that everything was about him.  Yes he played great tennis, but he really for many years had no real competition.  Then, Rafa, Nole and Andy began to give him a hard time.  And now he is just another player.
apollo he speaks perfect English as well as many other languages. And don't you mean Him?  Whistle

Do the  comments mean hHe's lost on Swiss soil today?  Won't bother wasting my sympathy in that quarter.  And I agree bbh, if people want to discuss royal babies I'm sure there must be a thread for such things.

My thoughts also - to lose in the second round of a home tourney against an unseeded opponent must be very tough for a GOAT. I think he should take the hint and become a COW  (Clapped-out warrior)

It's retribution time for Smugfed for all the rotten things he has said or done to other players. Just hope he has a stiff upper lip and doesn't cry.

Arrogant swiss fraud, media fawning idol.

Only playing nowadays, for fake love, and media attention.

Shanks backhands into the crowd, and then scowls like a clown.

Played Gstaad just to collect a cow.

Has no respect for his Lapdog Stan Wawrinka.

Why is Fraudy playing these lesser tournaments all of a sudden? Is he desperate to keep his ranking up now that he knows on Slam performances for it - or is it a farewell tour to all his old favourite tournaments? Think

I think it could be because Fraudy has finally realised that he can't enjoy lengthy breaks if he has any hope of winning anything worthwhile.  In other words, his greatly reduced schedule for 2013 isn't working, so he's panicking now.  Getting a racquet with a bigger head and pretending he was trying it out in Hamburg and Gstaad was just a bluff.

Aww i think a certain Swiss tennis player is in denial

http://www.espn.co.uk/tennis/sport/story/226185.html#

Is anyone buying this?

"There comes a time when the ranking is not so important. Quite honestly, I don't even know exactly what my current ranking. 4th? 5th? 3rd? It doesn't matter to me so much."

Just when i thought my opinion of him couldn't get any lower, he now wants the world to believe that he is unaware of his current ranking, what an odious man he is, he sounds like a petulant child right now refusing to admit it's over, heck all tennis players should just let him win a slam, maybe then he will think he has gone out at the top like his buddy Sampras.
