instant replay debut
« on: March 27, 2006, 10:30 PM »
have any of you watched the Nasdaq100 ?? If you have then im sure u have seen the new Hawk eye ! what do u think about it ? At first i thought it wouldnt be to good but after seeing it in action i think it is really good and can stop alot of bad calls . I like the way they can only have 3 questionings per set as it doesnt ruin the fun of the calls . so what do u think ?

I have to say i am very impressed with hawk eye, i was very pessimistic about using the technology as i thought it might stop the flow of the game,
I am a bit worried about certain players using the hawk eye tactically, as in knowing a certain call was correctly given against them but to interfere with an openents flow they will call for hawk eye anyway, the commentators noted it in the henman match if anybody saw it

i haven't been able to watch the NASDAQ-100 Open but i think it is great to have hawk-eye - i thought they should have introduced it years ago when the technology first came available.

If at first you don't succeed, you fail.

I think it is good coz i know in a lot of matches when you get a bad linecall it can really affect the player's mentality and seriously affect the player's game.
