 Think  Not wholly convincing.....

"While there has been some frustration among the British investigators at the manouevrings of World No 4 Davydenko's legal team since last summer, what they have seen of his phone and bank records and in the course of interviews has been far from conclusive."

(From today's Daily Mail)

Lack of evidence was always going to be a factor

Yup. He did it but he's done a great job of leaving no trail.

Yup. Maybe he has a debt to pay to the mafia!

If something has been happening I don't think that Davy was involved personally.

Isn't it, if something has happened, he must be involved?

correct me someone who knows the story but was it not that he was looking set to win and there were obscene amounts of money put on for him to lose and then he suddenly resigned because of some 'injury' no one had any idea about?  Was that not what it was about?

If there was something going on, might it be more whether he was forced to do it - the Russian Mafia and all that because I go along that it wasn't worth it to him.

However looks like we will never know!

You're right - all sheer idle speculation ...........!

and what is wrong with that?  It has been going on for so long, people are bound to have their views!
