All the talk of Federer being the GOAT or that one day Nadal will overtake him.  My favourite player has always been McEnroe his stats speak for themselves.  He played and beat the likes of Borg, Lendl, Connors.  He was equally as good at singles and doubles winning slams in both in the same year.  Most modern players (unless they are specialist)  view doubles as a serious option once you are to old for singles.  He had a great passion and belief in himself which is great to see in Andy.  I am also a great fan of the fast volleying tennis he played I hate matches that are just slugged out from the back of the court.  A summary of his main stats area below.

Stakes a good claim, but I place Sampras/Fed and even Borg above Johnny Mac.
