Rusedski is falling apart due to fatigue, so it looks like the doubles is over. No way Rusedski will beat Djokovic so that is that. Way to go Bates, if you had played Andy against Djokovic we would probably be 2-0 up and the doubles would be a match we could afford to lose. Euro/Africa zone 2 here we come.

ur so harsh if Murray wasnt well enough to play  then good decision by bates ,

Bates left it up to Murray to decide if he was fit enough to play and he said he wasn't! However, Andy was all ready to come out and play his socks off if Greg has won (probably another reason the crowd was so tense toward the end of Greg's match) No one can blame Bates or Murray for the loss of this tie. It was just bad luck!

I am not a person who exactly likes Bates but there was absolutely nothing he could have done. I agree Ijsmall.

i'm fed up with people criticising bates for not playing andy. if andy was injured he couldn't play end of story and i think bates made a good call by leaving him out.
