Tim was a great player. I always followed him, as the only Brit out there. I often think people forget his successes, and only concentrate on the failures. Dang! That rings big bells!!

I remember him beating Kafelnikov at Wimbledon like it was yesterday, and the semi-final against Goran with the endless rain delays which he really ought to have won. Lots of happy memories of watching the tiger tim, including his run to the SF at RG, which one wonders if our Murray will be able to match! He was a good player, not a great one, but he was a lot better than what had come before for quite a while. The first time I really remember watching a brit at wimbledon, it was jeremy bates and that match against Guy Forget....We are very lucky to have Andy!
