wow.everyones taking up tennis.good stuff i have been wanting to join a club for ages but have been to lazy. plus i don't think that doing PE twice a week and Badminton twice a week is enough! and so i thought i might aswell join something else! by the way thanks dentie!  |

I joined a new tennis club when i was just about to turn 14.. you get some strange looks at first, but once you get to know everyone it's great!  And you learn to laugh at your self when you lose to a 9 year old.  |

Well it was meant to have been my first training session with my uni tennis club but after some confusion with the location of the session for the majority of the club i was unable to play. I was really dissapointed as i was really looking forward to having a go. Only three other members turned up and none of them had a spare racket so i could only watch  I will try again next week when it's back in the tennis dome and hopefully i'll get my hands on a racket and be able to try it out myslef!!! |

I had a lovely apologetic email from the president of the tennis club!! He said that he will make sure that there is a bigger turn out next week and some spare kit for us to borrow too! WHOO!!!! =D>

Well i actually got to play on Sunday!! On of the lad's let us borrow one of his rackets!! I was actually better than i expected!! There was quite a bit of running after stray balls though!! All in all i had a laugh and i can't wait until next week!!
