Ooh, never noticed that, Aileen. He did swear at one point, can't quite remember when, and of course he was awfy tempted to smash his racket during the dubs but he reigned it in. Did you hear his roar towards poor Wally at one point? Like the MGM lion he was!
I can smile about it now but I was really unamused by his behaviour during the Anderson match. It makes such a huge difference when he remains calm, but then he's well aware of that.
Yes, I noticed the restrained racquet smashing too. In fact I think he did it twice. Didn't hear the roar though, but then Castle and Lloyd were so irritating that I occasionally switched the sound off.
Agree about the Anderson match, and I know Andy has said that he needs to cut this sort of behaviour out, so if he can do it for the DC I can't see why he can't do it at other tournaments, although he is noticeably more restrained at Queens and Wimbledon. He needs to turn that negative energy into positive energy and put it into his game instead of wasting it.
