I found a load of ACE tennis magazines in my garage all in good condition, I can't bring myself to throw them away but I was wondering if its worth trying to sell them?  Thoughts? Think

I can't believe there are only two more serious tournaments (Montreal & Cincinnati) before the USO and then only two more (Shanghai & Paris) after that before the year end championships ............. where did the year go ........ Think

Didn't know where to make this post so thought miscellaneous would be as good a place as any, what does Andy need to do to officially qualify for the year end tournament at the O2 Arena, Nadal and Federer have both "officially" qualified and now Andy is above Nadal surely that should make him a definite now?  confused

Not necessarily, seeing as Murray earned more points between now last year and the end of last year than Nadal.  I'm pretty sure he's qualified now though, and if he hasn't it's a mere formality.

I would like to think that he would enter at least one of the 500 events as well as the masters events (Tokyo or Beijing and Basel or Valencia).

Perhaps he will ..... must say, when I was pondering that I was thinking "serious" tournaments which is how I referred to them.

I suppose what he enters is going to be dependent upon his ranking at the time ..... hm?

What're you up to these days - such a casual correspondent ....... mmmm?

I think the 500's will have less and less to do with points and more to do with being match fit and not leaving too much time between events.

As for myself I've become addicted to cycling which will last as long as the good weather does, I find relaxes me and lets get some quality thinking done.

I have never been fat but with extra exercise I have had to go from a size 32” to a 30 waist in my jeans so it must be doing me some good, unfortunately if it keeps up I may have to buy a new kilt.

I’ve also been on a lot of long weekends to different towns and areas within Germany (Nürnburg, München, Berlin, Hamburg) and now that the fußball is back I go to Bundesliga games.

I do pop in to read MW at least once a week but rarely post.

You could easily be right about being match fit - it'll be interesting to see what actually transpires.

Ooooh ..... sounds like you are getting into great shape yourself.  30" waist is pretty skinny!  Can you not just have your kilt altered?  I also thought you had a new "serious" girlfriend .... is that still on the go?

Sure do miss your wit ......

As I said I was only ever 32" waist so not much of a change and I'm only 5' 5.5" tall so it is not as if I'm like the gable end of a Rizla or anything.

As for the my girlfriend we are no longer together, but hay plenty more fish in the sea.
