Rafa looking too strong today, but I think Nole is a step ahead of Andy on clay, perhaps Andy will have to wait for the no 3 ranking a wee while more.

I think you are perched on a small space on a shelf in my mind ..... I don't ever remember not agreeing with what you are saying!

Great great tennis today.

What a pass from Nadal - another one.  Petchey has run out of superlatives!

Poor Djokovic - a double.  I really feel for him today - he has tried so hard.

Nerve wracking final - what great play from Djokovic today.

I'm sure you'll already have noticed Julia, that every time Nadal pushes his sweat band farther up his forehead to where there is a little hair showing means he is getting very slightly rattled!  Do you agree?

Haha yes, it makes his hair bunch up at the top, not quite feeling the Amy Winehouse look nervous

Rafa's figured out Djokovic's pattern of play these last few games methinks. In terms of quality of tennis, Djokovic deserves the title, he's phenomenal today but the King is too strong. Smile

Thank you ^  just realised I had been looking at this link earlier, but was in too much of a hurry to check it out thoroughly as the Final was about to start.

Superstition ?

"  Each time the 22 year old has won in Barcelona, he has gone on to be crowned Roland Garros champion at the climax of the European clay-court circuit. "

Good win for Rafa, never really in doubt. thumb up

Judging for the scoreline Djokovic did play well and is, right now, the 2nd best player on clay.  clap
