Oh dear Caz....what know? Cannot agree that if Djokovic wins it makes Andy's task any easier over either of them! wavrinka is on a high atm....let's leave it there...just shows to go that even the BEST can go down every now and again
Never said it did! You misunderstood completely. but that's ok!

Have to say have not posted for many months but have been following this website regularly.
Think Novak has/should have the measure of Wawrinka having the position of all the knowledge of Andy┬Ěs match with him. If the world number 1 cannot go fwd to the final against the world No.10--- something is wrong.
The fact that he lost the 1st set - won 2nd on a TB AND is still currently struggling says a lot for the pressures that Andy felt in playing Stan
Welcome back Lucky loser! wave I've been wondering where you've been.

I thought Stan played amazing and was disappointed for him not to reach the final. It was very close indeed. Novak is not at his best and he showed more frustration than I've ever seen before.
He was also being coached from his box and Marian Vajda on ore than one occasion, who by the wasy got a warning.

You wouldnt see Lendl doing that.He doesnt even move his eybrow muscles never mind his lips. Whistle

which is why his reaching down to Andy was so touching, shows how well he understands him ... which in the end is very promising for the future, because he 'gets' Andy.

It seemed to amuse Marcus, AC and BB that Novak shouted at his box.   It was very bad form when Andy did it.

And it was 'understandable' that Wawrinka should swear in a post match interview - yet Andy gets pelters for doing it during  a match, directing it at himself  - not refering to his opponent (yeah i know he wasn't being rude about Djokovic but still....) #doublestandards!

It was also "understandable" that Wawrinka smashed his racquet.

Ah but Stan went the whole hog and not satisfied with smacking it one on the court broke it across his knee too. Maybe Andy should've wrapped his around the umpire's neck.  Whistle

We should be used to this by now - but it's still annoying. may need to resurrect my tennnis room 101 thread

Personally, i would like Andy to smash his racquet on Anabel Croft's head, i know i may have crossed a line here from the female perspective but hey...

It does hack me off that when Murray does the racket smashing, swearing bit, he gets instantly vilified for it, but it seems to be totally accepted when every other man and his dog does it. Talk about double standards.
