Seen as Hewitt hasn't won a tiltle for 14 months is the problem simply down to him being one diementsional with his game. What about Roddicks bad run of form, has he got the same problem?. I have always thought roddick relies too much on his serve

I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

Roddick's the most one-dimensional player in the history of the game. He also looks like Desperate Dan. There's also no doubt that Hewitt's lost his edge - he's just not intense any more. The last two finals he's lost, in the post-match interviews, he's smiled, looked all amiable and paid a warm tribute to Murray and Blake who beat him. Losing finalists - especially Hewitt - should snarl and say that they'll be back with a vengeance. I expect him to finish just inside the top 30 this year; Roddick will find a natural level just inside the top ten.

If at first you don't succeed, you fail.

hewitt is married. that is his problem entirely. roddick's game does have flare too it though. (imho) honestly no offense to gracopy but when u talk about andy roddick like that (and u do it a lot) it really bugs me... andy roddick was the second player i took a liking too when i first got into tennis. andre agassi was the first.

Hewitt missed tons of last year, so it's understandable why his ranking has dropped. Tbh, 2 finals in a row - you know his ranking will get better if he keeps up. Roddick I think will drop down to top 15, he's good, but the young players seem to have figured him out

Don't like Hewitt.  Whistle And im not going to hide that i think he's as 1 dimensional as you get. He gets fierd up over the compltley wrong things... and i don't see that much talent in that man either.  dontknow He's just one of those angry wild players that doesn't really get anywhere because there's to much attention on trying to scare the opponent rather to actually out class....

I don't have anything bad to say about Roddick. He began in style.. and will finish in style. Yes.. im not saying he's perfect. He's got MANY problems that he needs to cover pretty SOON otherwise the out come will be worse than expected. He needs to pull himself together.
His serve is ace! I don't think he relies to much on his serve.. just because it better than most players doesn't mean it's a weakness because he is worse at other things than his opponents.  dontknow His backhand isn't bad either.  goodjob

OK that was a bit of an overstatement. no But he's still done nothing for this year or last year.. and yes he may have been out for like half of last year. Look and Nadal.. was out for 5 months. Came back and beat Federer to win yet another title.  goodjob

pullhair  Not getting angry. I talk about federer so I cannot be a hypocrit.

But Roddick is a great player, who brings a lot of aspects to the game, it's not like he plays really bad. He is trying to sort himself out at the minute, with all these coach changes, it can't be good for his game. He's only young (Kind of) ... he's got years ahead of him.
