Parmar won...

comfortably against that kid from the doubles. If Bates had played Murray instead of Rusedski we may well have won. Bates now trying to make out that Murray could not play today

This is nonsense as he was fine yesterday. He's just looking for excuses for his own poor tactical play in this tie.

Hey fuzzy - where does it say that Parmar won?

Doctors advice says otherwise. However, if andy wanted to play bates maybe should have given him a shot. BUT, you still can't hinge it all on Andy having played on the first day. If Andy had played today, Rusedski would still be playing the first game anyway, so it wouldn't make much of a difference.

Bates was probably just following advice from doctors - he's a good guy generally, and he ws probably trying to help out Andy...

Well, well done Arvind, but it hardly matters now. If only Greg could have beaten Djokovic and Murray would have played the final rubber... he would have absolutely crushed Bozoljac!

You're speaking nonsense! That article you posted there quite clearly states that Murray was set to play today against advice. And it's true! Andy was sitting ready to play if Greg had won. Greg had to play 1st for 2 reasons.

1. he had to play Djokovic cause he'd already played the other guy they had in for singles (that would have been playing against Murray had Greg won, they just rolled out that doubles dude cause it was a dead tie)

2. Andy was only going to play if he was needed in order to win the tie. What would be the point in him playing against medical advice, winning and then Greg losing anyway. They needed to know that it was essential for Andy to play before he possibly did himself a damage.

You know much as I like you sometimes Fuzzy you do say some of the stupidest things!!! Try reading your articles before you post them to back up a stupid claim.
