Sorry I missed that, that is such an obvious slight disguised as a compliment, although one has to be careful as Fed may have simply meant that Ferrer never gives up, which is certainly true.
No, I went for slight disguised as compliment. That's Fed's thing. I think if he'd meant Ferrer never gives up he would have said that, or said something about him being a fighter, which would be true. I just think Fed is becoming obvious in his old age. However, it was nice to hear Frew being sort of complimentary about Andy. That isn't always the case.

@ Fiverings
Frew was also complimentary
about Andy's court positioning these days i.e far more up the court, even on ROS.

Someone suggested someone from The Murray camp may be behind the PF account as PF followed Judy Murray first on his twitter

Agreed, think Andy will keep well away from that.

Think it's an Andy fan. Still think it could be someone from murrays world
( but don't know who ). Could be a member of the press but I doubt it.

I don't think so bbh but I guess even he has to acknowledge Andy's brilliance on occasion. But the general tenor of his commentary is still a patronising put down, and he doesn't miss an opportunity to have a little dig at Andy.
I'm sure it wouldn't be Judy who is PF as could look bad, if it came out. But I agree it's probably an Andy fan and it's someone in the tennis world I'd have thought.

I can't see PF being anyone who is directly connected with Andy. It would be awkward to say the least if it was and it came out. I do agree with Ruthie though, I think it is someone within the game in some way, even someone on the periphery like a journalist or something. I also still think it is a man. Whoever it is it is brilliant!
Also Ruthie, I'm glad it isn't just me who thinks FM is patronising to Andy. He reached new lows during the Berankis match.

Yes, and it's clearly someone quite close to Andy and his team, most probably a journalist.

Do not care who it is as long as he/she continues to post all those brilliant put downs.

Courage isn't absence of fear but mastery of it.

And probably in his mid-30s. It's been reported that at least one person in the locker-room knows PF's identity, but this could be yet another rumour. If it's true though I hope they continue to remain silent.

Frew has reached the end of his shelf-life. He should retire before he gets any sourer (if that's possible).

Yes I do not like the man at all that voice is so dreary and monotone. I do not know why he does commentary on the tennis he sounds bored. We need someone who knows about tennis and has a brighter outlook on the game.
