I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

Any thoughts on Fed's path post-retirement?
I see him continuing to be an utter t*8t, but on an amateur, rather than professional, basis.

I see him more in an ambassadorial royalty role - looking good, spouting platitudes and being generally useless for a lot of dosh, a la Tony Blair

This makes me think PF could be a journo:
'Especially for the journalists. Their job is difficult enough with those uncomfortable chairs in the Media Centre.'
Exactly what I thought. And "so staff tell Me anyway" read to me as if it came with a wink.

Can I just say that I love you. You saved me from saying something very similar.
No, seriously, I can't see Federer commentating. I think his ego is too big for coaching. Full time charity work doesn't sound like him somehow, and being a full time Dad would probably drive him insane - hopefully.
I suppose he could go on the veterans tour, or bore people to death doing after dinner speeches. Failing that, in the grey outfit and pink laces Wimbledon could offer him a job as a ball-boy.

PF has always sounded like a journalist to me. I wonder if it's Kevin Mitchell from the Guardian.

He could give after dinner speeches at functions wearing his WimBling Outfit and pass around his bag to collect the dosh.

Has any other journo referenced PF?
There is a tweeter called @PseudoFed who preys on his serial self-glorification mercilessly.

I've said this before but someone really should have had a word to him before he stepped out in that garb..

Loved the transcribe.
As for retiring, I don't think he will until he falls out of the top 4. And that could be a white yet, such is the chasm.

Yes, I've always said there are two ways of looking at the current era. It's either the greatest ever or we happen to have only four good players.

Some how this one makes me think of Maria Sharapova in drag.
