I do think there were attempts at other pseudo accounts - of Rafa and Nole? - but none caught the right humorous tone as PF does.

I think there were.  I think it works best with Fed because he gives them so much material to work with.  Djoko is already a funny bloke so poking fun at him is kind of redundant.  Same could be said of Rafa because he is so self-effacing.

He could give after dinner speeches at functions wearing his WimBling Outfit and pass around his bag to collect the dosh.

Why does he always overdo it??

I nearly had an accident laughing when he walked on court in that. #camp

I see him more in an ambassadorial royalty role - looking good, spouting platitudes and being generally useless for a lot of dosh, a la Tony Blair
Yes that comes readily to my mind - and he could show off his multilingual skills as well.

PseudoFed disappointingly quiet about Stanford's Davis Cup heroics at the weekend, but back to comment on Rafa's return...or not!

To PF: Any words of wisdom for Rafa on his return?
PF: No

@PseudoFed you happy Nadal is back? Wink
PF: Am I happy Nadal is back? Yes, providing he stays in South America #humble

Has anyone heard from @PseudoFed about Rafa's return? #snicker
PF: No they haven't #stroppy

Not Roger Federer ‏@PseudoFed
I see a lot of the people making the celebrations because Rafa is back. May I just remind everyone that I am a blue clay court specialist

Must admit I am missing PseudoFed of late. I miss his caustic and witty comments. Come on boys cannot wait for the tennis to resume. I am sure PseudoFed will have enjoyed his break and will be on top form when mens tennis resumes.

Fortunately Fed is playing in Dubai, which is the week before IW, so not quite so long.

Also noticed this: oliver golding tweets ‏@oli_golding: Anyone elses whatsapp not working? #killingme
to which PF responds : @oli_golding WhatsApp between staff and Me is working OK Mr. Golding fan #humble

So, if I understand twitter correctly, PF has picked up an Oli Golding tweet without being tagged. Doubt the real Fed would have done! PF has shown an interest in some of the lower ranked Brits before.

It's so intriguing to wonder who PF might be, though probably best not to know.

Recently people were wondering if he might be a tennis journalist. I don't think so. He made quite a big deal of actually being at Wimbledon last year, with photos, also commenting that he'd seen Neil Harman (who didn't recognise him), and Judy Murray (who did).

I don't get the impression that he has been at other tournaments. I think Andy might be the one who knows who he is though. And Andy's good at keeping secrets!

Fed's got 500 points to defend in Rotterdam next week as well.
