brilliant response to the draw from PF - probably had it up his sleeve.  Looks like a moment of existential crisis for the GOAT

I made my first ever tweetings today:

@PseudoFed @WTAtoday Maybe you could write and see if they would let you make a late switch to the women's draw PF?

"What the BBC will say about Me''

Hello fans,

I am back in the United Kingdoms so I salute you with a cup of Mr. Earl Grey tea. I follow your customs well and encourage staff to lift My little finger as I lift the cup. My best friends at The Tennis Space couldn’t believe their luck when I agreed to spend another moment with them. They asked Me to write a preview of Wimbledon this year. To make the honesty I thought this would make a short article. I mean what is there to say? I play a few matches, I win, everybody is so happy, the end.

So, as a special favor to The Tennis Space I contacted one of My friends in tall places. I called Julian Massange about his leaks as I wanted to obtain secret advanced copies of the script used by the BBC Tennis Team; Sue Darker, John Floyd and Jim McEnroe. Here is a copy:

Sue Darker: Hello everyone welcome back for another year of great coverage of Roger Federer, erm, I mean Wimbledon.

John Floyd: Oooh! Quite right Sue, he’s just incredible having just won Halle! Ooooh! Amazing!

Jim McEnroe: Guys, I think we ought to calm down. Roger? Great guy, great champ. But Djokovic is the number one seed and Australian Open Champ this year, Andy Murray, finalist last year here, Olympic Gold Medalist and US Open Champion. Not to mention Nadal, wow what a comeback this year! Ferrer has had probably his best year too. Just great tennis ahead of us!

Sue Darker: But what about Roger? You can never count him out.

John Floyd: Ooooh!

Jim McEnroe: That’s true Sue, but let’s see the type of draw he has. He had an OK time at Roland Garros but he had a great draw so let’s see what happens. Do you think Murray will repeat last year’s success and go one step further and win it? I think he has a great chance of doing it.

Sue Darker: Yes maybe, but what about Roger, he’s such an Ambassador, so humble too.

John Floyd: Ooooh!

Jim McEnroe: Certainly agree with you Sue, though they’re all a great bunch of guys. We’re so lucky to have them. Do you know how Murray’s injury is? Such a shame he had to pull out of the French but he looked great at Queens!

Sue Darker: Injury? I haven’t asked. Do we know what Roger’s wearing this year? I hope it’s a suit like in 2009.

John Floyd: Ooooh!

Jim McEnroe: Wasn’t quite to my taste and if he should fire anyone, it should be whoever told him it was a good idea.

Sue Darker: Oh come on Jim, that’s a bit harsh (laughs angrily).

Jim McEnroe: Well Sue, if you’re going to show bias surely you should go with Murray right? He’s the home hero. You don’t want to be like the French crowd and not support their home players.

Sue Darker: Jim, you’re fired, but what about Roger?

There you are fans. Exclusive information just for you! Apparently this was the same script they used last year, and the year before and staff tell Me the year before that too.

See you in the final of Wim8ledon!

I know I'm a bit late to the ask PF party, but can I ask what his biggest unfulfilled tennis ambition is?

No, that's too obvious, and since it's unlikely to be fulfilled I wouldn't expect him to draw attention to . I'm sure the real PF can come up with something suitably amusing.
