actually Aileen hasn't fed been talking rather a lot about his back recently?  Of course he'd not be so obvious as to say it was an excuse but..... Rolling Eyes
I suppose he has but I do think it's quite genuine.  But don't forget his new tennis racquet - which was so good he's gone back to his old one for the USO.

Fed's back got him excused military service Think
Yes, in 2003, the year he won his first Slam.  Quite extraordinary that ...

lol  I expect the Swiss were only too happy to have him as the greatest thing since holey cheeses.

Baghdatis though was another player who was excused military service in Cyprus so's he could pursue his tennis career.

Aileen I have to thank you for an inadvertent laugh. I read what you said as Holy cheeses and I was trying to figure out what a holy cheese is!

I think my brain has had it!

I never doubted it's genuine Aileen - just was questioning the suggestion that he doesn't talk about it himself.

I'm afraid all the Fed knocking is becoming a bit tiresome for me.  Perhaps, that's just me. Shrug
