Yamor is a secret squirrel, and has bigger fish to fry.  That's my guess!  Wink

He just doesn't care what happens to us anymore ...

Well it certainly looks like he's on his way back - just got to build on these wins and back them up next year! i must say though i like his apparent mental tuffness!!
Yes, he was not overwhelmed and lost his way, but I didnt get to see the match myself.

I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

I was only hypothesising. But he clearly has the game to win matches on grass - he beat Lopez and Schuettler on the stuff last year and now he's in the semis at Queen's. So it's not so far-fetched, is it?

As far as I'm aware, the last time two Brits made the semi-finals at the same ATP event was when Henman and Rusedski reached the Rotterdam SFs in 1999.

And yes, James has a Wimbledon wildcard. As does Dan Cox and Dan Evans. The wildcards were announced last Tuesday.

Yeh, I'm looking for Yamor too.....

Yamor, Yamor Yamor, where art though..........

listen have been dwelling over Nadal's  points in the Rankings. Just SOO confusing

He is currently on 12070 points 65 points ahead of Djokovic before going into Wimbledon (Cause Djoker hasn't defended his 20 points from Queen's last year)

But.............don't understand the following

ATP World Tour 500
Date /Tournament   Round   Points   Drop Date
04.10.2010 Tokyo      W          500           10.10.2011
31.10.2010 Valencia                         0       07.11.2011
01.08.2010 Washington               0           08.08.2011

Best of Other Countable Tournaments
Date   Tournament     Round   Points   Drop Date
03.01.2011 Doha      S             90     09.01.2012
27.09.2010 Bangkok  S           90     03.10.2011

Non-Countable Tournaments
Date   Tournament         Round   Points   Drop Date
18.04.2011 Barcelona  W         500           20.06.2010
3.04.2012   London / Queen's Club     Quarters   45   13.06.2011
04.03.201   Davis Cup   -   40

Not questioning anything other than WHY does BARCELONA not count as ONE of his ATP 500 top results???????????

Can someone explain this to me? Is it that Barcelona is NOT a top ranking 500 event?? IOW has it been dropped by the ATP as a Premier Event

As far as I can see, Rafa should be approx. 565points ahead of Djokovic going into Wimbles. But obviously I'm missing a point or two  confused

Anyone know where Ward's ranking would be if he loses today (which he surely must).

You're discounting last year's Eastbourne points which will still count next week.

So next week James'll be about 176 then fall to about 192 the week after.

Well Tsonga won 6-3, 7-6(9-7) but what a gutsy performance from Ward.  He certainly had Tsonga muttering to himself a few times during the 2nd set!  Obviously he was disappointed not to take the match into a 3rd, but Ward can take a lot of positives from this - and Tsonga showed the delightful sportsman that he is by acknowledging Ward's performance at the net.
