Nadal saves two set points.
Been a very impressive performance from Zeballos, I gotta say. Probably the best tournament of his career.
Can he beat Nadal? That's the question. Incredible 2nd set and the TB. Very aggressive play and kept the points very short, ran Nadal down corner to corner.

I'm adoring his topspin capabilities. Zeballos is one hell of a player, its a shame he is 27 and only has a few good years left on the tour.

Impressive mentally as well. Didn't get down, didn't get tight. That last rally he could so easily have netted any one of those shots but went with his guns. He is quite an experienced player, granted, but at that level so many players are quite mental.
I'll be amazed if he were to win this. Nadal to take the 3rd set 6-2 is my prediction. But who knows. Certainly been a good match. Have there been any breaks?

Nope, only 4 bp's in the match 2 a piece.

Tommy Haas is nearly 35, likewise Stepanek. Phau is 32 and recently broke back into the top 100, Ramirez Hidalgo likewise at 34. Ferrer just had the best season of his career at 30. Plenty of players in this day and age performing to a high level well past 30. As I said before, he's been floating around #100 for ages. This week has been a bit out of the blue.
